#TOO500 – A 500 mile cycle in five days for the charity Thinking Of Oscar

On the 12th of June, Stuart will cycle 500 miles over five days. His ride starts and finishes in Oxford and visits Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Sheffield Children’s Hospital, and Great Ormond St Hospital.

Thinking of Oscar was set up by Hannah and David Cole in memory of their son Oscar, a chatty, speedy toddler who died suddenly and unexpectedly on June 19th, 2014. Their intention from the outset was to identify a cause which went beyond the family’s own tragedy to address issues of broader social interest.

#TOO500 is a major cycling event that the charity is embarking upon, and its aim is to invest in innovative projects and act as a catalyst for positive change in children’s healthcare nationally.

It will be an incredibly challenging event but one that will be unbelievably rewarding. Especially because of the positive outcome the money raised will have.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and we hope that you can support Stuart in any way possible by clicking on the Just Giving link below:
