Guy’s Run For Mum – Well Done Guy & Stuart!

Guy’s Run For Mum – Well Done Guy & Stuart!

Throughout the month of October, a friend of the Carbon family, Guy Locke, will be running the entire length of the South West Coast Path. 1,015km, 631 miles, over 35,000m of elevation (equivalent of climbing up and down Mount Everest FOUR times).

Guy is doing this to raise money for Papyrus, a youth suicide prevention charity. This charity is extremely close to home as in November this year, it’ll mark 10 years since Guy’s lovely Mum Ali, took her own life after struggling with her mental health.

Over 28 days (0 rest days), Guy will be running and or hiking 30-40km every day. What an incredible challenge. On Wednesday 4th October, Guy was joined by our very own Stuart Bradney. They even went above the planned 37 km for the day!

Check out some pictures from their day below. We’re still cheering on Guy as he continues covering 1,015km (631 miles) and scaling over 35,000m of elevation for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.
