Mortgages in excess of 2 million GBP tend to be catered for by either Private Banks or specialist divisions of Mainstream lenders. Often, criteria, rates and fees are very different with Clients looking to understand how a specialist proposition compares & competes with a more standard mainstream option.
Carbon regularly assists on large mortgage structures within Prime Central London, private Home Counties estates, as well as complex homes with agricultural restrictions.
Private Banking relationships are nurtured over time and how a client is presented to a bank is key to any case success. Our specialist team ensure a Lender understands our Clients sophisticated structures and strategies, in relation to both income and wealth preservation.
Our relationships include global brands in addition to many others that are less well known.
A regular challenge is the Lender stipulation of clients moving assets to their investment arm in exchange for lender offering mortgage terms. This process is called Assets Under Management or AUM. Whilst we can assist in placing AUM relationships, we also have multiple routes that are purely transactional and do not insist on any AUM.
Ultimately our goal is to consider all lending strategies and filter the most suitable route for any client requirement.
